WORK UNDERWAY ON 200 x 30 foot MURAL INSIDE PRUDENTIAL CENTER

“Impressionistic Realism” Artwork to Capture Essence of
New Jersey Sports and Entertainment History

WHAT: Photo opportunity and a first look at work underway on a 200 foot free form mural that will be created on the concourse level of Prudential Center depicting local points of interest, architecture and teams competing in the arena.

BACKGROUND: Through a partnership with Sports & the Arts in Los Angeles, Prudential Center — which opens its doors on October 25 -- will include original abstract, contemporary and figurative paintings created by renowned artists from across the U.S. and Canada.  

Prudential Center will be the home of the New Jersey Devils, Seton Hall men’s basketball and the New Jersey Ironmen of the MISL, among others.  It will showcase 76 luxury suites, 2,330 club seats, and an array of amenities and conveniences for fans. Prudential Center will seat 17,500 people for soccer games, 17,625 for hockey games, 18,500 for basketball games and 19,500 for concerts.
